The cavern ---------- * one entrance at the base of the mountain * one giant cavernous room with a tunnel up high on one wall and a huge stair case going down. * the narrow tunnel leads to the bottom of a deep shaft with a ladder. The ladder leads up to the cellar The mountain stronghold ----------------------- * Walls around the whole fort * One main gate, several other smaller gates in the walls * There are several watchtowers along the walls * Storage shed cellar (used for storing old junk) * Kitchen building * cafeteria * The main room has pews and an altar * living area for the disciples Travelling times ================ walking on good terrain: 3 mph horse on good terrain: 8-10 mph I'll the walker and the horse can go for eight hours a day with no ill effects. I did some research on travelling with horses. The `Tevis Cup`_ is 100-mile race. The average first place time is 10 hours and 43 minutes, with an average speed of 7.3 mph.
